How can you make a big splash and promote your video games to a wider audience during a very crowded time of the year?

Electronic Arts needed a solution during the London Games Festival in October 2007 and Attention Seekers delivered with a live-streamed spectacular.

Taking over London’s Trafalgar Square with a huge stage and gaming arena, passers-by were invited to try out the latest EA games, watch live performances from artists such as Kelly Rowland and McFly, and take part in a host of fun challenges.

The show was such a success, it returned in October 2008 even bigger and better than before, and this time was also filmed and televised for a gaming special on Channel 4.
