You don’t always need to go to the extreme to produce great content.
But sometimes you do.
When Codemasters came to Attention Seekers to get their game noticed, we had an idea; recreate a level from the game at London’s iconic Battersea Power Station and let loose professional rally driver Ken Block.
Dirt 3 is a rally car video game both developed and published by Codemasters. A new gymkhana mode puts players in obstacle courses, challenging them to perform various tricks to earn points. The real-life circuit at Battersea was based around a level from this game mode, with obstacles arranged in an identical fashion.
Dirt 3 was a critical success, garnering more than two million views. It was commended by critics for its gameplay and new features such as the gymkhana mode, which was first presented to the Dirt audience via another elaborate Attention Seekers Production.
